Walker William Fendley, "F4," our fun-loving, best-hugging, sweet boy tragically passed away on May 15, 2026. Born in Charlottesville, Virginia, in May 2006, he spent his childhood playing with neighborhood friends, obsessing over his soccer games, and auxing in the car and at any gathering. He graduated from Monticello HS and then traveled to SEC-land to proudly attend Ole Miss.He lived and loved with such passion and intention. His knowledge of music and sports was unparalleled and he let everybody know it in the best way because he wanted to share his appreciation of so many things. He was intuitive and so goofy and lit up every room he entered. He was feisty and beyond energetic.He is survived by his loving parents, Howie and Leslie, his beloved sister Ella and her boyfriend Ian, his sweet girlfriend Claire, so many wonderful cousins, aunts, uncles, grandparents, and countless friends.We will forever treasure…

Ellen Pratt Underwood EckfordAugust 14,1928 to May 15, 2026Our beloved sweet mom has taken her leave of this world.Ellen is preceded in death by her parents Ellen Pratt Underwood and Oscar W. Underwood Jr; her son and eldest child Jason (Jay) I Eckford III; her husband, Jason I Eckford Jr; and her brother, Oscar W. Underwood III. She is survived by her sister, Merrill U. Barringer; her daughters Lindsay Lewis Eckford; Leslie Pratt Eckford (Michael Kligman); and her two grandchildren, Ian Jason Kligman and Annika Noelle Kligman.Ellen spent her early childhood in Washington DC living near the National Cathedral. To her dismay, her family moved to Charlottesville, Virginia where her father became a law professor at the University. Though initially sad to leave the big city, she grew to love her new hometown. Mary "Anne" Ledford Frick, 86, of Charlottesville passed away peacefully on May 9, 2026.Anne was born in Petersburg, Virginia to the late Robert Edward and Hazel Winn Ledford. Upon graduation from high school, she attended the school of nursing at Petersburg General Hospital while working for local doctors prior to marrying and starting a family with her husband of 65 years, Gary.Anne is survived by her husband, Gary, and her daughter Karen Frick Sizemore and her husband, Jack. In addition, she is survived by her brother William W. Ledford and his wife Alice, her sister Katherine Ledford Holladay and her husband John, and many nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her brother Robert Edward Ledford, Jr. (Joye Ledford Scheffler).Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of the Piedmont and All Blessings Flow.
