Mrs. Bonita Bonnie Laughorne Patterson age 82 of Covington died Monday March 30 2026 at the Brian Center Nursing Care Low Moor. She was the wife of the late Ernest PatLee Patterson Sr. Mrs. Patterson was born August 25 1943 in Covington the daughter of the late Rader N. Laughorne and Cynthia Stinnett Laughorne. A lifetime resident of this community she was a graduate of Covington High School where she was a cheerleader. During her working career Bonnie was employed as a clerk by the former KMart and the former Peebles for a number of years and also worked at area schools in the cafeteria and Whiteys One Stop. Mrs. Patterson was an active member of McAllister Memorial Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Women of the Church a circle member and enjoyed singing in the choir.
