She is survived by a daughter Tinia Tompkins of West Point four grandchildren Joshua Tompkins of California Patrick Tompkins of Woodbridge Kyla Tompkins of Texas and Tyzaiah Braxton of West Point three sisters Carrie Tompkins Alston of Tappahannock Barbara Tompkins of Richmond and Carolyn Tompkins of King Queen and a brother Pastor Quinton Tompkins Geraldine of Tappahannock. The viewing will be held on Thursday July 9 from 57 p.m. at Washington Funeral Home Tappahannock. The funeral service will be held on Friday July 10 at 11 a.m. at First Mt. Olive Baptist Church Newtown. The interment will immediately follow the service in the New Testament Church cemetery Tappahannock.
