Moisesa Canares Bailey 62 of Palmyra died on Saturday May 9 2026 at her home surrounded by family. She was born on February 7 1964 in Cebu Philippines a daughter of the late Quirico Segismar and Lucia Racaza Segovia Canares. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a Vicente Canares Quirico Camares Jr.. Zanita Paraiso. Moisesa was a homemaker and enjoyed planting word puzzles shopping and she was an active member of the church and the Filipino community. Survivors include her husband John Davis Bailey a daughter Rachel Gustinegail Abella and a son Robert Abella Jr. A funeral mass will be held at 1100 a.m. on Wednesday May 13 2026 at Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Palmyra with the Rev. John Nyanzi officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
