Carol Ann Puffenberger Eaton 82 of Winchester Virginia passed away on Wednesday July 1 2026 at Winchester Medical Center. Carol was born on March 30 1944 in Paw Paw West Virginia to the late Rodney Harding Eaton Sr. and Effie Virginia Eaton See. She graduated from Paw Paw High School and later dedicated her career to helping others as a phlebotomist for Valley Health Services from which she eventually retired. A woman of the Baptist faith Carol filled her life with the things and people she loved most. She was a former member of the Moose Lodge and had a passion for the outdoors especially camping and fishing. She loved cooking big comforting meals for her family testing her luck at Bingo and working on her creative projects which included writing her own childrens book.
