In loving memory of Edna Harper Chestnut age 86. She passed away peacefully in her sleep surrounded by the love of her family. A small woman with an enormous heart she leaves behind a lifetime of love warmth generosity and memories that will be cherished by all who knew her. She is survived by her husband Bobby. Their love story began as high school sweethearts and together they built a life centered around family and devotion to one another over 65 years. Raised in the beautiful mountains of Highland County Virginia she was lovingly raised by her grandmother Kitty Mom and her Aunt Alice. Those early years helped shape the woman she would become strong caring and deeply devoted to her family. She was the daughter of Steven and Virginia Harper and one of four sisters alongside Mary Lou Judy and Joan. The bond between the sisters remained strong throughout…
