Steven Wayne Hess 56 of Louisa County passed away on February 3 2026. He was preceded in death by his dad James and brother David. He is survived by his wife Christi children Mallory Jean Emile Kody and Bryan Sam mother Helen brother Gary Linda sistersinlaw Patty and Trista Duane parentsinlaw John and Marlene many nieces nephews cousins and friends. Steve worked for over 20 years at C.T. Purcell Inc. where he was an integral member of the team as a senior project manager and will be sorely missed. He loved camping cooking and football where he was a loyal and longsuffering Redskins yes Redskins fan. There will be a celebration of Steves life at a later date. Steve was always fun to be around over the past 20 years. I enjoyed working and talking to him. I will miss him.
