Shirley Coleman Walker age 88 of Petersburg VA entered eternal rest early morning on Friday February 13 2026. She was born to the late Harry and Josephine Coleman on January 18 1938. Shirley was preceded in death by her loving husband Horace Alexander Walker two sisters Frances Stewart and Louise Bland one brother Harry Coleman Jr. At an early age Shirley was baptized and accepted Christ at Mount Poole Baptist Church Ford VA where she faithfully served on the Usher Board and the Missionary Ministry. She later joined Metropolitan Baptist Church where she remained a devoted member until her health declined. She loved he church family and cherished worshipping with them. Shirley attended Southside High School in Dinwiddie VA class of 1958. She was employed at Brown and Williamson and Phillip Morris Park 500 where she retired after 20 years of dedicated service.
