Mrs. Mary Writtenberry Acree age 83 of Brodnax passed away on Sunday October 11 2026 in her home with her family by her side. She is survived by her six children Kenneth Writtenberry of Blackridge Deborah Edmonds of Bracey Diane Morris of Bracey George Acree of Brodnax Wanda Hodges of Blackridge and Crystal Kimble of Wake Forest North Carolina her sister Molly Toone of La Crosse her many loving grandchildren greatgrandchildren and greatgreat grandchildren and her two special care givers Barbara and Suzette. Mrs. Acree was preceded in death by her husband Charles Edward Acree her two children Robert Acree and Deloris Acree her two sisters Bonnie Bailey and Frances Kidd her granddaughter Cierra Fuller and her parents Martin and Lizzy Carroll. Lincoln Roscoe Sturdivant was born February 3 1937 in South HillVirginia. He departed this life October 6 2026 at his home. Lincoln was the son of the late Carrie and Willie Sturdivant. Lincoln graduated from East End High School and worked at Burlington Mills for many years until retirement. Lincoln was preceded in death by his parents his wife Celia Ann Midder Sturdivant sisters Geraldine and Joyce and brothers Orney James and Eugene.
