DONNIE ROBERTSNORTON, VA – Donnie Roberts, 76, died Wednesday morning, May 13, 2026, at his residence. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Lora Roberts and his second wife, Betty Roberts. Born in Norton, Virginia he moved to Manassas, Virginia in 1970 and after his retirement he returned to Norton in 2021. He was a member of Davis Chapel Church in Norton. Donnie was dedicated to everything in which he was involved and gave it his all.He is survived by his wife, Fran Roberts of the home; three sisters, Virginia “Jo Bill” Thacker and her husband Noah of Coeburn, Va., Katie Sanders of Coeburn, Va. and Theresa Williams of Norton, Va.; special brother-in-law, Owen Franklin of Gate City, Va.; several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends from 6-7 pm Thursday, May 14, 2026, at Hagy & Fawbush Funeral Home in Norton.
