RUBY COLLINSNORTON, VA – Ruby Geraldine Collins, 84, died Tuesday, October 6, 2026, in Atlanta, Ga. from injuries obtained in a motor vehicle accident. She attended Freedom of Worship Church in Norton, Va. Ruby enjoyed her church family and her companion dog. She was a member of the Lunch Bunch in Norton, Va. She was a daughter of the late Jessie Eldridge and Josephine Isom Eldridge. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Collins; two daughters, Sherry Bailey and Lisa Morris; and a granddaughter, Sheena Marie Yates.She is survived by her son, James Collins of Norton, Va.; a sister, Joyce Ann Smith of Harlan, Ky.; a brother, Anthony Wade Eldridge of Tn.; and a niece, Rosemary Caudill of Norton, Va.Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11 am Wednesday, October 14, 2026, at Laurel Grove Cemetery in Norton, Va. with Pastor Robert…
