James Allen Bubby Judd 80 of Luray Virginia passed away peacefully at his home on May 14 2026 surrounded by his loved ones. He was born July 2 1945 in Luray Virginia to the late Cecil Judd and Ruth Waters Judd. He was also preceded in death by his son James Allen Judd II. James worked for 22 years at Avtex Fibers in Front Royal Virginia. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and in his later years fishing became his greatest passion. He loved spending time on the Shenandoah River but his favorite place was Lake Anna where he loved spending time with his family. He also enjoyed playing cards with the guys on Sunday nights. He was born on June 28 1967 in Harrisonburg VA to the late Melvin Lee Shenk and Margaret Marie Knight May. Mark attended Page County High Shool and following school worked for Breeden Mechanical Inc. for 40 years. From an early age Mark was an avid outdoorsman who greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed carpentry and woodworking and could be found on many weekends in his garage completing projects for his wife.
