Florence Fae Forrest Mungo 87 passed away on Wednesday June 24 2026. A native of Poquoson Virginia she was born to the late Herman T. and Irene Watkins Forrest. Fae spent her career working for the civil service at Langley Air Force Base working in AFETS supply and Aircraft Maintenance Financial Management for almost 40 years. It was there that she earned the nickname Mama Warbucks. Fae was an avid reader and she loved to travel. She was a sports enthusiast loving golf baseball all womens sports and the Washington Redskins. She served on the Poquoson Planning Commission. She was a member of the Poquoson recovery and rebuilding efforts from Hurricane Isabel. Fae was also a lifelong member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she served on several leadership committees and the Wesley Fellowship Class where she loved leading adult Sunday school.
