Eleanor was the beloved wife of the late Benjamin Paul Jones Sr. and a devoted mother to Donna Winfree Tom Jane Williams Gil and Benjamin Paul Jones Jr. Peggy. She is survived by three grandchildren Benjamin Jones III Christina Thomas Winfree Jr. and April Sullivan Wade five great grandchildren Autumn Allison Tinsley Ella and Benjamin IV. Eleanor was preceded in death by her grandson Andrew Paul Winfree. Among those she held dear was Elvis Rich a devoted friend to her and the family valued for his kindness loyalty and thoughtful presence in their lives. Eleanor loved being part of her community and staying engaged in activities that mattered to her. Richard McNeal Jewell died peacefully at home on May 10 2026. He was born on September 23 1929 in Lottsburg Virginia to Lloyd Marvin Jewell and Maud McNeal Jewell and was raised in a large loving family. Education was always important to Richard. After graduating from Callao High School Richard attended the University of Richmond on a baseball scholarship for two years. He transferred to Virginia Polytechnic Institute now known as Virginia Tech and decided to pursue a career in education. He earned his B.S. in agriculture education with academic honor. Richard began his teaching career as a Vocational Agriculture teacher at Gloucester High School. He completed his graduate work at the College of William and Mary and the University of Virginia. In a few years he was named Assistant Principal at Gloucester High School and then moved on to serve as principal at Prince George High School and Martinsville…

Katherine Irene SnellStout 91 a resident of Richmond County died on May 10 2026. She was born on May 22 1934 to the late Roland Bruce Davis and the late Ethel May Brown Davis. Katherine retired from two careers first with Kay Jewelers corporate headquarters in Alexandria and the second with the Builders Association in Northern Virginia where Katherine lived for many years until she returned to Warsaw in 2003. She was the widow of Edward Forest Stout. She was a member of Central Baptist Church while living in Woodbridge and Cobham Park Baptist Church and Welcome Grove Baptist Church in Warsaw. She was a community volunteer at the March of Dimes and a member of the Elks Lodge in Northern Virginia. Katherine was also a member of the Lancaster Chapter of the Daughters of the Confederacy 1406 and held the office of Registrar. She later joined the new Chapter…
