Jesse Ronald Mitchell Ridgerunner 85 of Timberville passed away March 28 2026 at Shenandoah Place in New Market surrounded by family. He was born March 29 1940 in Fort Seybert WV to the late Jesse Claude and Evelyn Arlene Dove Mitchell. Jesse drove for several trucking companies in his 52 years behind the wheel. He was also a substitute bus driver for Rockingham County Public Schools. His memberships included Independent Community Church Broadway Lions Club Timberville Moose Club and the Eagles. On October 5 1991 he married Darlene Moyer Hupp Mitchell who preceded him in death on November 14 2023. Surviving are a brother James Mitchell and wife Gay sisters Joan Ritchie Nancy Harlow and husband Charles Tammy Morrisey and husband Jim sons Jesse C. Mitchell Roger A.
