Agnes Aileen Schrader Oakes age 83 passed away Friday February 13 2026 at her home in Marion VA. Aileen was born in Smyth County Virginia to the late William J. Schrader and Annabelle Charlotte Schrader. She was also preceded in death by her sister Patricia Pruitt and the father of her children William Bill Oakes. She worked at Buster Brown and Barkers Quik Stop in Marion where she loved her job and especially enjoyed seeing and visiting with her many friends. She enjoyed going camping sitting around bonfires making smores and spending time with her Claytor Lake family. She was a wonderful cook and had a special love for her flowers.
