Daniel Lee Beavers, age 42, of Richlands, VA passed away on March 28, 2026. He was born on June 7, 1983, to Daniel Garland Beavers and Linda Lou Asbury in Tazewell, VA. He enjoyed playing music.He was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Asbury. James Edward “Eddie” Cordill, 75, of Richlands, VA, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2026, at Roanoke Memorial Hospital.He was born on February 20, 1951, in Richlands, VA, to the late James “Junior” Emory Cordill and Thelma Louise Brewster Cordill. In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son-in-law, Jody Rose.Eddie was a lifelong carpenter by trade and a gifted woodworker. He loved dove hunting, working in his garden and feeding birds. In his later years he also enjoyed puzzles. Eddie will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and above all else a good honest man.Survivors include his wife of 50 years, Peggy Cordill; two daughters, Victoria Misty Rose and Sarah Elizabeth Horton and husband Jerry; six grandchildren, Maddy Wells, Mason Horton, Jacob Rose, Samantha Rose, Ti Horton and Annie Horton; one great granddaughter, Kentleigh Stanford; and one brother, William Randall Cordill.Special…

Ronald Blair Dixon age 57 of Tazewell VA passed away peacefully Thursday March 26 2026 at his home. Born on July 11 1968 he was a beloved son of Marsha Massie Stinson and the late Ronald Wayne Dixon and loving husband of Regina Rambo Dixon. A 1986 graduate of Tazewell High School Ron was the infamous 62 Bulldog football hero. He continued his football career at Concord University playing on special teams. After college Ron enlisted in the United States Army becoming a specialist in B Company 276th Engineer Batallion serving his country in Operation Iraqi Freedom and earning The Army Commendation Medal for his exceptional meritorious service as a platoon heavy weapons squad leader.
