Doris Blevins Mills of Hinton, WV, passed on August 16, 2026, at home surrounded by her loving family. She was 91 years young. A memorial in Doris’s honor will be held at 2pm on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Grace Primitive Baptist Church in Shady Spring, WV with Elder Keith Mills and Elder Joe Blevins officiating.Doris was born to the late Ahart and Frances (Farmer) Blevins in Jonben, WV on October 6, 1934 just as the 6pm train was going by so her cries could not be heard. This would set the tone for her life, quiet and in the background.Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Lee Mills, grandsons Zane L Mills II and Justin Cook, 8 brothers: Ana, Lolen, Earl, Eddie, Oakley, Blane, Paris and George and 2 sisters: Beulah and Marie.
