Ronald Clayton "Ted" Mulkey, 80, passed away on 30 March, 2026. He was born in Portsmouth, Virginia, is the son of the late Clayton and Jeanette Mulkey.Ted enlisted in the Navy in 1966, serving on the USS Boxer during the Vietnam War, and then went into the reserves after 2 years of active duty.Ted followed in the footsteps of his father into the world of dry cleaning and became one of the region's preeminent experts in nearly all facets of the industry.A loving and devoted husband and father, Ted is survived by his daughter, Margaret and husband Rich.The family will receive friends at Hollomon-Brown funeral home, Lynnhaven Chapel Wednesday April 8, 2026 from 7 to 9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday April 9, 2026 at 1 p.m. at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Lynnhaven Chapel by Rev. Irene Sarvis, 99, of Bayonne New Jersey went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 30th, 2026. She was at home with family when she decided to go see Jack her husband of 59 years. Born on January 30th 1927 in Bayonne she was the youngest of 3 children born to Bessie & Teofil Sadowski.As a child she grew up during the depression, but told us it was a great time to grow up, they didn’t have a lot but were surrounded with friends and family. Her dad emigrated from Poland and married my grandmother who was also Polish. He was lucky to have a laborer job at the Esso refinery.During her teenager years the war broke out and she dropped out of school to get a job as a statistician for western electric.
