It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Lola Teresa Cowan, who passed away on May 10, 2026, at the age of 73.Teresa was a devoted wife to William E. Cowan and exceptional mother to John Christopher Boutte and Tracy Michelle Powell. Grandmother to Alice Frances Boutte, Harlee Michelle Powell and Kendle Gauge Powell and lots of family and friends.Born in Portsmouth, Virginia to the late Cleatus Howard Hobbs and Lola Dorothy Hobbs. She will be remembered for many wonderful things, her warmth, smile, laugh and the unwavering love she gave to those around her.A viewing will be held on Tuesday 5/19/26 from 3pm to 5pm and the service will be held on Wednesday 5/20/26 at 2:00 PM at Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home - Kempsville Chapel, 1485 Kempsville Rd, Virginia Beach, Virginia.

Alice Sue Garrison Eadie, age 85, passed away peacefully in Virginia Beach, VA, to her final home.Alice was born in Carmi, IL. She graduated with the Class of 1958 from Carmi Township High School in Carmi, IL, where she met her life partner, Paul, and began dating in their Junior year. She attended one year of college, learning shorthand and how to manage an office, before marrying Paul in 1962. He was born on June 13, 1930, in Brooklyn, New York, to George and Ann (Lonigan) Wray.Joe grew up in Queens as one of seven children. After graduating from Andrew Jackson High School, he enlisted in the United States Navy. A blind date at Jones Beach changed his life forever — it was there he met Maryanne (Downes), the love of his life.
