On August 9 our dear friend Lena passed away. She would have turned just 37 years old in September. Lena was a bright kind and sincere person. This is how we want to remember her with her smile her kindness and the warmth she shared with the people around her. Unfortunately during the last years of her life Lena struggled with alcohol addiction an illness that ultimately took her life far too soon. Lena did not have any close relatives a husband or children here in the United States. Her mother is in Belarus and is unable to travel here so we Lenas friends have taken responsibility for arranging her farewell and final arrangements.
