Though Jim requested no memorial gathering his family proposes we celebrate his life in the way he would have chosen an hour on a nearby river or lake or walking through a beautiful forest cherishing the autumn air on Sunday October 18 2026 at100 pm PT. Bring your dog if you are so lucky to have a pup in your life. Bring a fly rod if youd like to lay a line in his honor. Bring loved ones if it makes your heart happy to spend time together though he would let fellow introverts off the hook if they choose solo time instead. Jim loved all of these things and loved Christ and the Church. So bring a prayer or sing a psalm if that too is your way.
