Maris Ungurs who went by Morrie passed away at his home in Fircrest Washington on March 29 2026. He was 83 years old. Morrie was born in Riga Latvia on November 16 1942 to Arvids and Elizabeth Fadejeva Ungurs. In 1944 to the family of Morrie. what a story thanks for sharing. I was at WWU in the 70s. trying for degree in viola w Charmian Gadd whos stiil alive living in her native AUS. Moved down to SD CA for audition with SD SYM. didnt get it but continued to freelance here on Viola organ piano etc. Thanks for posting my sincere condolences Douglas

Anna Ruth Challender 101 of Tacoma Washington passed away peacefully on March 27 2026. Ruth was born on November 26 1924 in Jackson Tennessee to Willie B. and Myrtle Green. She lived a long and meaningful life devoted Even though I only knew grandma for a short time she was always so kind to me I love just sitting with her at family gatherings and talking story she would tell me about how her and grandpa met and even though she wasnt always feeling well she would say I am doing ok she was a tough cookie.
