Dorothy “Dot” Nadine Dalan slipped gracefully from this life and into the welcoming arms of the loved ones gone before her, on October 7, 2026, at the age of 91.Born May 16, 1935, Dorothy was the daughter of George and Nadine Peth of Best Road. She attended LaConner schools and graduated from Western Washington University. Dorothy married her 1st grade sweetheart, Roger A. Dalan, in 1956.Dorothy taught 4th grade at both Lincoln Elementary in Mt Vernon and Green Lake Elementary in Mountlake Terrace before making the difficult decision to leave the Pacific Northwest and move to Garden Grove, California to follow Roger’s career. With two young children in tow, they then found themselves on the opposite coast, where they set up home in Morrisville, Pennsylvania.Dorothy immersed herself in suburban life.
