Margaret J. Utgard age 96 passed away peacefully on Monday February 02 2026 with family by her side. She was born November 12 1929 in Olympia WA to parents John Brovold and Nora Johnson Brovold. When she was six months old they moved to the Cedarhome area of Stanwood. She graduated high school at Twin City High School class of 1947. She then entered Everett Providence School of Nursing and became a Registered Nurse. Between her junior and senior years of high school while working at Pictsweet she met the man she would marry. Margaret was married to Irving B. Utgard son of Dewey and Clara Utgard on September 30 1951 at Camano Lutheran Church. They had four children. Irving passed away in 1976.
