Lawrence Ray Keaton 86 of Pipestem passed away suddenly Saturday afternoon February 14 2026 at his residence. Born November 5 1939 in Mercer County he was the son of the late Basil and Florence Kirk Keaton. Ray retired from the Dean Company after over 25 years of service to spend time with his family. Ray loved his Lord and Savior he was a faithful member of the First Church of God on Mahood Avenue in Princeton. Ray enjoyed spending time with his family and reading his Bible. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years Nora Faye Trivett Keaton sibling Aubrey Keaton brotherinlaw Tom Keaton nephew Greg Keaton. Elizabeth Susan Betti Sue Hedrick 87 of Princeton passed away Saturday February 14 2026 at Glenwood Nursing Center in Princeton. Born November 29 1938 in Ronceverte WV she was the daughter of the late Mary Louise Surgeon Hedrick and James Errington Hedrick. Betti Sue was a 1956 graduate of Athens High School and a 1962 graduate of Concord College in Athens. She formerly worked for One Valley Bank in Princeton before starting her teaching career with the Mercer County School System. She taught most of her years at Matoaka High School then Princeton High School before retiring in 1989. Betti Sue was a member of the Omicron Chapter of the Alpha Sigma Tau Sorority and the Retired Teachers Association. She was a member of Princeton Presbyterian Church and a former board member of Bluestone Health Association. Betti Sue had a vivacious spirit that will be missed by her friends and…

Grady Lee Dudding 81 of Princeton passed away Saturday February 14 2026 at Princeton Health Care Center. Born September 9 1944 he was the son of the late Charles Watson Dudding and Eitha Sidney Holmes Dudding. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by siblings twin brothers Jessie James Dudding and Billy James Dudding Wayne Charles Dudding Irma Ann Blankenship Pauline Lillian Thomas Charles Wilmer Dudding James Edward Dudding and Alphone Watson Dudding. Survivors include his children Grady Lee Dudding Jr. Charlene Melissa Morris Joe and Charles Jackson Dudding ten grandchildren several greatgrandchildren and siblings Bonnie Joe Ford Deborah Christine White Mike Elizabeth Elaine Monk Kermit Geneva Kay Pritt Gary and Daniel Allen Dudding. In honoring Gradys wishes he will be cremated and there will be no services.
