Jonathan William Cook 55 of Augusta West Virginia formerly of Keyser passed away on July 1 2026. He was born on August 6 1970 in Keyser. Jonathan lived a life marked by dedication to his family his work and his country. A graduate of Keyser High School Class of 1988 Jonathan went on to serve his nation with honor as a veteran of the United States Navy retiring as a Chief Petty Officer following his military service. He pursued a career in construction where his hard work and commitment were evident to all who worked alongside him. Jonathan was a devoted husband to his beloved wife Kathy J. Thorn Cook for 35 years and a cherished father and grandfather. He is survived by his father John Peyton Cook his sister Melessia A.
