Born on October 6 1942 in Baltimore Maryland he was the son of the late Harry Russell Nelson and Mildred Arbutis Stanaker. Harry lived a life marked by hard work dedication and quiet strength. A Vietnam War veteran he went on to build a long and respected career asan Ironworker with Local 16. He often joked that he had "built the city of Baltimore" a reflection of the pride he took in his work and the lasting legacy he left behind. Though private and never one to seek attention Harry was deeply kind and loving.
