She was a 1961 graduate of James Wood High School a dishwasher in the Frederick County School System and a member of the Christian Church at High View West Virginia. Karen Lambert Harman 84 of Fredericksburg Virginia entered the Kingdom of Heaven on March 26 2026 leaving behind a legacy of love laughter and devotion to her family. Karen was a true force of nature known for her deep love of flowers and her joy in spending time outdoors. She had a passion for painting especially watercolors and found beauty in the simplest moments of life. She was a devoted and loving wife mother grandmother and friend. To those who knew her best she was the Keeper of Memories and the heart of the family. Her dedication to her loved ones was unwavering and her presence brought warmth and strength to all around her. Karen was united in marriage to her beloved husband Charles Edward Harman on June 10 1961. He preceded her in death on August 4 1985. She often said There was only one love of my life…

Born May 4 1954 at Riverton she was the daughter of the late Roy Thompson and Iva Jane Bennett Thompson. She had fond memories of attending the Dixie Schoolhouse and was a 1972 graduate of Circleville High School. Susie was a farmer enjoyed having pets and was a member of the Pendleton County Farm Bureau. She treasured the time she spent and the friends she made while dining at The Gateway Restaurant and Potomac Lanes. She had a passion for helping others. Family and friends will be received Tuesday April 7 from 600 800 PM at Kimble Funeral Home in Franklin. A funeral service will be held at 100 PM Wednesday April 8 in the chapel of the Kimble Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Lambert officiating.
