Daniel Eugene "Danny" May, 67, of White Sulphur Springs West Virginia, passed away on July 30, 2026. Born on March 20th, 1959, to John and Sylvia May, Danny lived a life centered on family, hard work, and finding joy in the simple things.Danny is survived by his loving wife, Linnlette Masters May, with whom he shared 23 wonderful years of marriage. They were married on July 13, 2003, at Wild Meadow Baptist Church in White Sulphur Springs, West Virginia, where they built a life filled with love, laughter, and family.He is also survived by his former wife, Tammy Smith and leaves behind two of their three children, Terra May and Crystal May. He was a proud grandfather to Gabriella, Zachery, Michael, Chevelle May and Jemma Wright - whose lives brought him endless joy. Phyllis Ann (Weese) Amick, 94, of Hurricane, went to her heavenly home on Monday August 17, 2026 at Rolling Meadows Assisted Living., Scott Depot, WV.She was born in Saxman, WV; the daughter of the late James Ross and Nina Weese.Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents; her loving husband, William Homer Amick; granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn French; brother, Elbon Weese and an infant sister, Janet Weese.Phyllis was a retired nurse from St. Francis Hospital. She attended Dunbar Mountain Mission, until moving to Hurricane and then attended Teays Valley Missionary Baptist Church until her health prevented her from going.Those left to cherish her memory are a son Gary (Kathi) Amick of Hurricane and a daughter, Brenda (Barry) Corbett of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Aaron (Tara) Amick, Todd (Mikhaela) Amick, Kalynn (Tony) Willey, and Danielle (Beau) Mackie; great grandchildren, Colton, Tessa, Camdyn, Brenna, Sawyer, Breelyn, Daren, Ryella and Beau Daniel.Service will be 2:00…

Wayne Thomas Myers, affectionately known as Tommy, passed on August 18, 2026 at Lewisburg Health Care surrounded by family. He was born on February 14, 1937 to the late Thomas William and Mildred Hazle Myers in Parkersburg.Also preceding him in death were his sister, Joan Diana Brookover, brother in law, Charles Brookover, and one niece, Mary Jane Brookover, Chichester.Surviving are his wife, Deanna Myers, brother, Warren Myers (Janet), and his children, Derick, David, Juliana Vella, Anne Gallagher (Jimmy), Suzanne Borders (Keith), step-children Brandon Dooley, and Amy Brown (Stuart).
