Daniel LaRocque Holsinger 73 of Tunnelton WV passed away peacefully at his residence on Sunday October 11 2026. He was born on December 16 1952 in Clarksburg WV a son of the late Leon LaRocque and Elizabeth Eloise Herring Holsinger. Daniel was a proud graduate of Kingwood High School Class of 1970 and later graduated from the West Virginia State Police Academy. He dedicated more than 30 years of his life to serving and protecting others through his career in law enforcement. He served as a police officer for the City of Kingwood and with the Sheriffs Offices of both Monongalia and Preston Counties. Throughout his career Daniel demonstrated a strong commitment to his community and took great pride in the responsibility of helping others.
