Cecelia Ann Cole age 88 of Coal City WV passed away at Beckley Healthcare Center in Beckley WV on Friday February 13 2026. Born on January 7 1938 in Christiansburg Virginia she was the daughter of the late Cecil Spradling and Elsie Cole Spradling. Mrs. Cole was a retired school teacher with 27 years of service having taught mostly in the Coal City area. She was a graduate of Morris Harvey College and received her Masters Degree in Education from West Virginia University. Mrs. Cole was a member of Sunset Hills Missionary Baptist Church at Coal City. She enjoyed crocheting in her spare time. In addition to her parents Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by a daughter Karen Cole a brother Cecil Spradling Jr. and a sister Nancy Brown.
