Rhonda Kay McClain 84 of Amma died Saturday February 14 2026 at CAMC General Hospital Charleston. She was born April 2 1941 at Charleston the daughter of the late Roy Stratton and Georgia Faye Reynolds Carper. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Ray Pauley second husband Alan McClain children Kenny Pauley Sharon Pauley and Raymond Pauley sisters Nancy Likaits and Donna Jean Conley brothers Roy Kent Carper Roger Carper and Ronald Jake Carper. Rhonda was a former hostess at Fifth Quarter Restaurant and Marriott Hotel both in Charleston. Also she was a selfemployed baker and caterer. Survivors include her daughter and soninlaw Amanda and Josh White eight grandchildren nine great grandchildren cousin whom she considered a sister Carol Ann Fisher several nieces and nephews.
