Marian Foy Kahle 95 entered Heavens gates on Thursday May 14 2026 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley surrounded by her loving family. Born October 13 1930 in Iowa Falls Iowa she was the daughter of the late Clinton Culver and Gertrude Dighton Culver. Marian graduated from St. Paul Bible Institute in 1950 and married Walter Kahle on July 3 1956. She worked at Rockford Can Company until its closing in 1982. Following the closing she began teaching at Hendersonville Christian Academy in the fall semester of the same year. Teaching was her passion and she dedicated herself to it until her retirement. Once retired she cared for several special needs individuals and their family members. A lifelong Christian and witness for Christ she remained so until her last days of life. Gloria Jean Tilley age 82 of Peterstown WV passed away on May 11th 2026 at her home surrounded by her husband David Tilley and her children and grandchildren. Born on October 13th 1943 in Charleston WV. She was the daughter of the late Cyril and Velma Young Adkins of McGraws WV. Affectionately known as Jean she worked as a cook in the Wyoming County School System for many years and she attended the Bozoo Christian Church. She will be remembered by her family for the numerous Sunday meals she prepared for her loved ones. Born February 23 1946 in Brenton WV he was the son of the late Noel Vern Cook and Edna Mae Milam Cook. A lifelong resident of Wyoming County he was a faithful member of the Turkey Creek Missionary Baptist Church and was a huge supporter of Wyoming East. An avid hunter and fisherman Larry was a true outdoorsman. When he wasnt in the woods or on the waters age he could be found working in his garden or tending to his apple trees.
