Mary "Micki" Carol Lee

Micki Lee passed away October 6 2026 at her home in Barnes. Born August 7 1940 in Cloquet MN the daughter of Jeremiah and Carol Stoltz Stewart. Micki was raised in Ashland and graduated from DePadua High School in 1958. After attending St Theresas in Winona for a year she moved to Minneapolis where she met and became engaged to LeRoy Lee. Micki and Lee married on February 2 1964 and in 1968 they became permanent Ashland residents where they raised their family and became active members of the community. Micki worked for many years in early childhood education most notably Head Start. She loved being around the kids and the kids loved her which was evident every Halloween when hundreds of current and former students would visit the house in Ashland for a treat She was an avid hockey mom and actively involved in Ashland Youth Hockey.
