In her lifetime Marty was a devoted wife and mother full of faith with a quiet laugh and a bright smile. She passed peacefully with her surviving children and one daughterinlaw at her side on May 9 2026. They lived in Mattoon IL Belville IL Rochester MN Cottage Grove MN Trego WI and Spooner WI Her greatest joys included Rodeo weekend where her kids grandkids great grandkids and associated pets all gathered playing bridge with friends playing cribbage and hand and foot with her kids and grandkids reading building puzzles and sitting on her deck enjoying the flowers and the wildlife around the homes they owned in Trego and Spooner. Her home was filled with multiple crafts she had completed including knitting crochet cross stitch items. Aleksandrs Michael Klidzejs age 84 passed away Wednesday May 13 2026 at Tamarack Health in Hayward WI. He was born in Riga Latvia the son of Leopolds and Tekla Rubulis Klidzejs. He was united in marriage to Norma Joan Topp on May 5 1979 at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. The Klidzejs family came to the United States by boat in 1948 after spending time in a U.S. controlled refugee camp in Germany following WWII. Aleks graduated from Dowling High School in Des Moines IA where he earned All City and All State honors in football. He attended Denver University where he played football until the program ended. He transferred to the University of Idaho in Moscow ID playing football on a full ride scholarship and also played on the baseball team majoring in mechanical engineering.
