Sherri A. Hanson (Martin) passed away peacefully on October 8, 2026, in Duluth, Minnesota, surrounded by the comfort of her family. She was born on March 7, 1946, in Shell Lake, Wisconsin, to Wayne and Patricia Martin, alongside her sister, Barb, and brother, Steve. After graduating from Spooner High in 1964, Sherri attended Eau Claire’s School of Cosmetology. She returned to the area as a beautician and met her husband, Jerry Hanson. Sherri treasured the years she spent at home raising their children, Gina and Paul. She later returned to work for more than 25 years at Ronning’s in Hayward, a place where she truly loved to work. Sherri lived with a very strong work ethic and a generous heart.
