(Shafer) Sokoloff, age 69, of New Holstein, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 17, 2026, at ThedaCare Hospital in Appleton, surrounded by her loving family, following a recurrence of cancer.Blanca was born on September 28, 1956, in Mexico City, Mexico, to the late John and Maria (Maldonado) Shafer. On June 29, 1972, she married the love of her life, Rodney Sokoloff, in San Diego.Blanca worked as a CNA coordinator at Milwaukee Catholic Home before retiring. Caring for others was more than simply her career—it was a natural part of who she was. She was a devoted caregiver who gave generously of her time, love, and compassion to those around her.Above all else, Blanca loved her family. James M. Docter age 90 of Brandon WI peacefully went to his Heavenly home on Monday August 17 2026 at Christian Home in Waupun WI. Jim was born on December 31 1935 in the farm house in Green Lake County the son of Arthur and Grace Strong Docter. Jim was united in marriage to Marie Rivers on August 30 1958 at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Ripon WI. Marie preceded him in death on October 7 2020. Jim was a farmer throughout his entire life and took great pride in his work. He especially loved his John Deere tractors with Old Faithful holding a special place in his heart. He worked at Schillers Manufacturing in Waupun for 37 years as a Machine Operator before retiring. He was a longtime member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Ripon. Hank was born on February 28 1942 in Victoria Texas the son of Francisco and Maria Martinez Rivera. On September 5 1965 Hank was united in marriage to the love of his life Katherine "Kathy" Lange at St. Patricks Catholic Church in Ripon WI. Together they built a loving family and shared over 60 years of marriage. Hank worked as a truck driver until his retirement. He was a faithful member of St. Catherine of Siena Parish and proudly served as an usher at St. Patricks Catholic Church for many years. He was also a dedicated member of the Knights of Columbus and volunteered his time as a Little League baseball coach making a positive impact on many young lives.…
