DoWayne Lee Shields Jr. 69 of Jefferson formerly of Madison passed away on May 2 2026 at home battling an illness. He is preceded in death by his parents DoWayne Sr. and Crystal Zimmerman Shields. DoWayne served his county as an Infantryman in the US Army. DoWayne is survived by his brothers William Terri Warren Wanda Joseph and Jason Stacie. He also leaves behind a number of nieces nephews and greatnieces and greatnephews. DoWayne enjoyed fishing hunting and a good campfire. Times spent with family and friends were always cherished by all parties and he will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Lori Ann Baechle 65 of Jefferson passed away with her family at her bedside on Tuesday May 12 2026. Born on May 31 1960 to Donald and Dawn Beachle both deceased. She has one sister Lisa David Bhatti and one brother Todd Tamara Baechle and the father of her children Jose Gonzalez. She is also survived by her children Richard Sara Baechle and Patricia Tyloch her grandchildren Mabel Samuel Punzel MaKaylynn Logan Preskar Tyloch Colton Baechle Josalyn Tyloch and Jase Morrison and greatgranddaughter Naia Preskar. She graduated from Johnson Creek High School in 1978. Lori was a dedicated and loving worker at Bethesda Lutheran Homes for more than 28 years. She enjoyed Bon Tons delicious creations often.
