Ronald B. Propp 83 of Pontiac IL formerly of Sullivan WI passed away after a short illness on Saturday June 27 2026 at OSF St. Francis Hospital of Peoria IL. Ron was born on March 23 1943 in Waukesha WI the son of William and Betty Lovell Propp. He graduated from Jefferson High School in 1961 worked at Schweiger Industries married in 1964 and started his family soon after. The family moved to Pontiac IL in the mid 1960s and Ron began work at the Pontiac Indian Chair Factory a job he held until the 1980s. He later owned and operated two bars in Pontiac The Propper Place and Rons Tap and began working at Caterpillar Inc. in Pontiac in the early 2000s. Ron loved to travel with his siblings seeing the country together and enjoying each others company along the way. Family was an extremely high priority for Ron.…
