Sharon Sue (Salewski) Kostrova, 81, of Sanford, NC passed away peacefully at home with her family at her side on August 18, 2026. She was born to the late Chester and Evelyn (Krause) Salewski on May 17, 1945 in Marinette, WI. She married Lester Kostrova December 28, 1967 in Pound, WI. Sharon worked at McFadden Music in Fayetteville, NC and continued on to Fort Bragg Schools as a music teacher until her retirement. She enjoyed spending weekends with her husband participating in horse shows where she also did secretarial work.Surviving are her loving husband Lester, one sister, Barbara Cullen, two brothers, Jon (Yolanda) Salewski and Jim (Karen) Salewski; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.She was preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Jim Cullen.The family will greet relatives and friends Friday, August 28, 2026 at Rhodes-Charapata Funeral Home, 235 E.
