Christopher Scott Stanfield 58 of Rhinelander passed away unexpectedly at his home on Tuesday evening March 31 2026. Chris was born in Colorado on August 18 1967 to Fred I. and Peggy E. Simmons Stanfield. His family lived in Colorado till he was five years old. At this time the family then moved to Rhinelander. When Chris was entering his senior year in high school he moved back to Colorado to finish his schooling graduating in 1985. He then enlisted in the U.S. Army proudly serving his country for four years. Chris returned to Rhinelander where he has lived ever since. He was employed at Walmart for seventeen years and later as a taxicab driver with Northwoods Taxi. Chris enjoyed bowling watching movies and T.V. shows hunting fishing WWE and was an avid Packer fan.
