Dorothy M. Poull age 88 of Port Washington Wisconsin died Monday October 30 2023 at Aurora Health Center in Grafton Wisconsin. She was born on July 19 1935 to Raymond and Virginia Konrad Diedrich in Random Lake WI. Dorothy attended St. Marys parochial school and graduated from Random Lake High School. For many years Dorothy worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant CNA at the former St. Alphonsus Hospital in Port Washington. On August 20 1955 Dorothy married James J. Jim Poull at St. Marys Church in Random Lake. While raising her family Dorothy still worked at the hospital and at the family business Poull Hardware on Franklin Street in downtown Port Washington. Together with her children they would operate the store until retirement in 1998. Joseph A. Joe Hamm age 91 of Blueberry Road Town of Saukville Wisconsin peacefully passed away Tuesday November 7 2023 at home with his family at his side. He was born on the family farm on September 14 1932 to John Steven and Theresa Waas Hamm. Joe attended St. Rose of Lima parochial school. He served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict from 19521954. On July 16 1960 Joe married Betty Jane Schinker of the Town of Port Washington at St. Marys Church in Port Washington. Together they continued to operate the family dairy farm along with Joes brother bill. The farm is still run by some of their sons. During the 1970s and 80s Joe partnered with his brother Bill with Fredonia Sand and Gravel business. Marion M. Huiras age 97 of Port Washington WI found peace Monday Oct. 16 2023 at the Harbor Campus in Port Washington. A lifelong resident Marion was born Jan. 18 1926 to Sylvester Snookie and Mary C. Ratatori Grasser. She graduated from Port Washington High School class of 1943. On March 2 1946 Marion married Henry A. Hank Macek from Cudahy WI at St. Marys Catholic Church in Port Washington. They raised their family on Madison Avenue in Port Washington. Over the years Marion was active at St. Marys Parish St. Marys Christian Women and the Daughters of Isabella. She was a proud homemaker mom and grandma. For a few years she worked at Port Washington High School. Hank and Marion later moved to Eva Street in Port Washington. On April 9 1989 Hank preceded her in death. He worked for Johnson Centrifugal the former Johnson Brass in Saukville WI for many years. Daves passion was cars and racing. He owned a few vintage cougars and traveled the country visiting race tracks and fixing cars throughout the years. She was born May 31 1960 to Harry and Ruth Falk Bork Sr. She attended local schools including West Bend High School and Port Washington High School. She married Gary Grabarczyk in the Town of Grafton Wisconsin on October 1 1988. They made their home in the Town of Grafton until moving to Fredonia Wisconsin in 2013. Susan worked quality control at CiDell Thermoset Plastics in Mequon and Production Plastics in Grafton. She also worked as a caregiver for many years at Lasata and privately.
