Everett Thomas Hetrick 79 of Pepin WI passed away on Thursday June 4 2026 at St. Elizabeths Hospital in Wabasha MN. He was born October 2 1946 in Durand WI son of David and Evelyn Steele Hetrick. He attended school in Pepin. In 1967 he was drafted into the United States Army and served in Vietnam. On December 11 1971 he married Connie Schlieker. To this union one son was born Andy. They later divorced. He enjoyed fishing hunting watching westerns on TV drawing and writing poems. He loved spending time with his grandchildren. She was born January 6 1955 in Littleton CO daughter of William and Lynn Lacey Olson. She graduated from Arapahoe High School. Following high school she proudly attended the University of Colorado where she graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Fine Arts. On July 28 1979 she married Kris Straup in Littleton CO and loved him dearly to the end. To this union were three children Tim Lauren and Lacey. She taught at Hope Charter School in CO for many years. Her students loved hanging out with her in the classroom and even stayed in touch with her when she no longer taught there. She graduated from Pepin High School. On July 2 1955 she married Peter Pleimling in Minneapolis MN. Louise was very family oriented and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She belonged to the Lyster Church Circle for many years. After she was widowed she spent many hours volunteering at the Coon Rapids Senior Center and other charities. Gerd Barbro Kreij 88 of Stockholm WI passed away on Wednesday August 12 2026 at her home. She was born April 26 1938 in Helsingborg Skane Sweden daughter of Sven and Ingrid Jansson Kreij. She grew up in Sweden and attended school mostly in Visby Gotland in the Baltic Sea. Following graduation she went to jewelry school in Germany. There she met John J. Raich who was serving as a medic in the United States Army. They were married in Sweden and then moved to the United States and settled in the Minneapolis MN area where they raised their 5 children. They later divorced. Gerd moved to Stockholm Wisconsin in 1986. She was a sheep farmer weaver knitter and photographer. She volunteered at Amicus and the Red Wing Correction Facility for over 20 years. Gerd was a grateful member of AA and was proud of over 50 years of sobriety.…

Eileen Dorothy Buchholz was born January 23 1943 to Ben Tabor Sr. and Dorothy Lillian Pruess Buchholtz in Rock Falls WI and passed away July 20 2026 at Beehive Homes of Eau Claire WI. As an adult Eileen lived and worked in Chicago IL for the Army Corp of Engineers as a computer programmer. She lived in Germany for several years and in Saudi Arabia for a year in her work for the Corp during which time she travelled extensively. After retirement she returned to Rock Falls where she cared for her mother for many years until her mothers death. After Eileens dementia made her unable to live independently she lived with her niece for a year then was moved to a care facility. Deloris Dee Claudette Anderson 89 of Ella WI died peacefully Thursday February 12 2026 on her 70th Wedding Anniversary surrounded by loving family at The Home Place in Durand WI. She was born September 12 1936 in Columbus OH daughter of Gerald and Helen Czapla Bush. A few years later after she was born she and family settled at Hickam Field in Hawaii where her father Gerald was stationed with the Army. On December 7 1941 during the Attack on Pearl Harbor Japanese Zero fighter planes strafed the base and she and her brother ran for cover amid the chaos. Two days later while inside a warehouse on the base a large wire spool fell and broke her leg. At just five years old she later received an honorary recognition from the Army for her bravery during those frightening days. She graduated from Woodbridge High School in Avenel NJ. Following…
