Darlene Anna Kinney, age 96, of Osceola, WI, passed away into the arms of Jesus on May 14, 2026 at Osceola Medical Center due to illness and complications from a fall.Darlene was born at home in north Milwaukee on June 11, 1929 to Reuben and Anna (Krebs) Kinney. She called herself a “depression” baby, living through tough times. Her father operated the street cars/electric trolly/diesel buses for $.50/hour to support his family of four. Darlene was responsible for overseeing and playing with her younger brother Rueben Jr. In the early days, she had to keep track of his nickel and help him get on the city bus to go to school. Years later, she was his designated baseball pitcher for both he and his friends’ teams. Rodney Robert Brust, age 75, of Dresser, Wisconsin, passed away Wednesday, May 13, 2026 at United Hospital St. Paul, Minnesota.He was born on June 23, 1950 in Amery, Wisconsin to parents, Robert and Betty (Patrin) Brust. He was married to Sue (Simpson) Brust on December 17, 1971 and they were blessed in 1972 with a daughter, Jennifer, and in 1977 a son, Jeff.Rod went to school in St. Croix Falls and then enlisted in the Navy and spent 4 years overseas in the Korean and Vietnam war. He was stationed in Long Beach California where he met Sue and they got married and moved to Dresser Wisconsin. Dale, she was born on January 12, 1946, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She was a loving mother, a thoughtful and gentle presence, and someone who found deep joy in the people and places she held close to her heart.Although she was born in Minneapolis, Junie moved to rural Shafer Township as an infant, and that community remained an important part of her life. Carol Jean Olson, 81 years old died at her residence in Scandia, MN on May 13, 2026.Carol Jean is preceded in death by her mom Eva Steinert and her dad James Steinert. She is survived by her husband John Olson; children Rebecca (Mark) Bringgold, and Karen Olson; grandchildren Antonio Bringgold and Alexandra Bringgold.Caol made her husband, children, and grandchildren a priority. Her hobbies were gardening both vegetable and flowers, making cakes, (she was nicknamed “the cake lady”, scrapbooking, and ceramics. She will be greatly missed and forever remembered.

He is survived by his sons, Jeff (Marilyn) of Maple Plain, MN, David (Jodi) of Buffalo, MN, and Todd (Kelly) of Frostproof, FL; his daughter, Gretchen (John) of Duluth, MN; eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.Donald was born in Taylors Falls MN to Frank and Mabel Peterson (Hall) and raised on his parent’s farm in Almelund, MN.
