Donna Mae Bortz, age 81, of Stevens Point, WI died on June 28, 2026 at Willow Brooke Senior Living.She was born on May 4, 1945, to the late Edward and Marge (Vicker) Berndt in Stevens Point, WI. Donna grew up in the area, attended the St. Stans grade school, and graduated from P.J. Jacobs High School.She married Carl Bortz on October 26,1968 at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Stevens Point.In her earlier years, Donna worked at Sentry Insurance before transferring to Lullabye Furniture. She assisted with clerical work, which included payroll and account receivables until the furniture factory closed. She subsequently began working for Figi’s until retiring.Donna will be remembered for her dedication to family and her stubborn nature. Family was very important to her, especially her grandchildren.
