Maurine R. Plautz, age 96, of Edgerton, passed away on Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the Edgerton Care Center. She was born in Beloit on December 14, 1929, the daughter of Hugh and Vanetta (Hook) Mc Quade. She married Rollie “Puggy” Plautz on April 21, 1951, in Beloit and he preceded her in death on September 18, 2006. Maurine had worked for Freman Shoe Corp, Beloit, but most of her life she stayed home and raised her family. She loved being a mother and a grandmother. She was also a very talented pianist. Lois Ileana “Ana” (Sitz) Prange, age 90, died on March 28, 2026, in Watertown, Wisconsin. Ana was born on September 3, 1935, in Tucson, Arizona, the daughter of Erdmann Arnold Sitz and Frieda (Koehler) Sitz. She was baptized and later confirmed at Grace Lutheran Church in Tucson, where her father, Rev. E. Arnold Sitz, lovingly served as pastor. Growing up in the parsonage attached to the church, Ana joyfully assisted her father as his secretary and developed a lifelong love for service and ministry. She graduated from the University of Arizona with a degree in education.In 1956, Victor Prange was assigned as vicar to Grace Lutheran Church, where he shared the office with secretary Ana.
