Peter Francis UllrichMarch 15, 1937 — April 1, 2026Peter Francis Ullrich, 89, passed away peacefully on April 1, 2026, at Cedar Bay in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, surrounded by his loved ones, the final chapter of a life defined by a profound dedication to service—to his country, his community, and above all, his family.Peter’s commitment to service began at Harvard University, where he served four years in the Navy ROTC before graduating in 1959. He then dedicated 14 years to the United States Navy across active and reserve duty, eventually resigning his commission in 1973 at the rank of Lieutenant Commander. Among other duties, he served as the first Nuclear Weapons Officer and Anti-Submarine Warfare Officer on the world’s first nuclear powered anti-submarine frigate, the U.S.S. Bainbridge.Following his active military service, Peter earned a Master of International Law and Diplomacy from Tufts University, which launched a distinguished career in international banking.…
