Lyle Eugene Chandler, of Hixton, WI, passed away on March 13, 2026, at Mayo Clinic Health System in Eau Claire at the age of 83.Lyle was born on September 18, 1942, to Wayne and Laura (Christianson) Chandler in Black River Falls. He was one of 9 children. He grew up in the Hixton area and attended school in Hixton.After graduating from high school, he enlisted in the Army. He served from 1960 until 1963. He was a sharpshooter and worked in the motor pool as an auto mechanic. The majority of his time in the military was spent overseas.On April 30th 1970 he married Elaine Nelson and they began their adventure together.Lyle worked as a mechanic at Waughtal Implement and then worked on the massive dump trucks at the Jackson County Iron Mine in Black River Falls until it closed. Olin Charles Fimreite passed into eternity to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 31 2026 at the age of 92. He was born on August 25 1933 to Theodore and Olinda Schultz Fimreite on the family farm a mile north of Eleva Wisconsin. Olin attended Big Creek School through the 8th grade and then Eleva High School for his first three years where he was a member of the Eleva Elevators basketball and baseball teams. He was part of the first graduating class of ElevaStrum High School the first consolidated school in Wisconsin and was a standout athlete for the Cardinals in both basketball and baseball. He was also a member of the Future Farmers of America. After high school Olin remained on the family farm for two years before joining the U.S. Army.
