Lizette McGhee Wiggins 78 of Atmore AL passed away on March 31 2026. Lizette was born on February 16 1948 to Cobie McGhee and Mattie Lou Phillips McGhee. She attended Atmore First Assembly of God Church and was a member of the Poarch Band of Creek Indians. She was a loving wife mother and grandmother. She enjoyed fishing shopping reading drinking coffee on the back porch and was devoted to reading Gods Word. She is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years Curtis Wiggins her son Stephen Pamela Wiggins her daughters Stephanie Lizette Ken Lovette of Poplar Bluff MO Danielle Justin VanCleave of Mobile AL and seven grandchildren Ashley Emily Joseph Cobie Dillon Maci and Tehya. Mrs. Sims was a native of Ocean Port New Jersey and a lifelong resident of Conecuh County. She owned and operated Top To Bottom Cleaning for 30 years and also owned and operated The Hen House on Highway 84 in Conecuh County. She also worked in the pipeline industry for a few years along with her devoted husband. She was a 1989 graduate of W.S. Neal High School and was of the Christian Faith. Mrs. Sims enjoyed cooking cleaning traveling to the beach and mountains as well as gardening and raising chickens. She loved her family dearly especially her grandchildren that brought her great joy.
